I got a full body checkup done back in December 2025 because I wanted to focus more on my health. The results were mostly normal but the main concern was my Vitamin profile.

Vitamin Result Remark
Vitamin D 17.9 ng/mL Deficient, 30 - 100 is considered sufficient
Vitamin B12 174 pg/mL Deficient, 300 - 900 is considered normal

A common consolation given to these disappointing results is that a huge percentage of the population is actually deficient so it's not much of a big deal. But I've heard enough of Rhonda Patrick and Andrew Huberman to know that I shouldn't be consoled. I let myself be disappointed so that I do something about it.

I talked to Gemini about this and we came up with the ICIA framework (Interpretation, Causes, Impact, Action) so that I'm better informed about the reports. After researching a bit about the impacts of such levels and sufficiently scaring myself to force an action, I decided that I'll start supplementing at a corrective dose for a couple of months. This is what I decided:

Vitamin Dose Link Remark
Vitamin D3 5000 IU per day Inlife Vitamin D3 5000 IU Cholecalciferol Post lunch with 2 boiled eggs
Vitamin B12 1500 mcg per day Inlife 1500mcg Vitamin B12 Methylcobalamin Post breakfast

Both of these come with 60 tablets. I was mostly consistent except a week in between. I finished my dose by the 20th of February 2026. I got a test done again yesterday (3rd March 2026) and I was delighted to see an impressive jump in both the levels.

Vitamin Result Trend Remark
Vitamin D 32.6 ng/mL +82% Sufficient (on the lower end)
Vitamin B12 444 pg/mL +155% Normal
Vitamin Improvement

As mentioned before, a significant percentage of the population (which includes you) is also deficient. When deciding to do something about my results in December, I was looking to find if anyone who has tried supplements has noticed measurable improvements in their levels.

I'm sharing this because there's comfort in knowing that someone you know has tried supplements before and had a strong improvement without any side effects.
